Flashscot USB Limited Warranty Statement

US DIGITIAL MEDIA, INC. ("Flashscot") warrants to the original end user of its products specified below that its products will be free of defects in materials and workmanship. Subject to the conditions and limitations set forth in this warranty statement, US Digital Media will at its discretion, either repair or replace any part of its products that prove to be defective due to improper workmanship or materials.

Repaired or replacement products will be provided by US Digital Media on an exchange basis. Such products will be either new or recertified. All of our recertified products are tested to ensure that they offer the same functionality as a new product. If US Digital Media is unable to repair or replace the product, a credit or refund for the current value of the product will be provided.

This limited warranty does not cover damage to the product(s) as a result of improper installation, accident, abuse, misuse, natural disaster, insufficient or excessive electrical supply, abnormal mechanical or environmental conditions, or any unauthorized disassembly, repair, or modification.

This limited warranty only covers repair, replacement, refund or credit for defective US Digital Media products as stated above. US Digital Media is not liable for and does not cover under warranty, any loss of data or costs of data recovery service. No compensation will be provided for any costs incurred when troubleshooting system problems or removing, servicing or installing US Digital Media products. In the event of a warranty claim, US Digital Media’s sole obligation shall be replacement of the hardware.

Product Lifetime Warranty
Flashscot USB drives from US Digital Media is covered by this warranty for the life of the product. This limited warranty applies only to the original end user of the product for as long as they own the product. This limited warranty is non-transferrable.

Requirements for Warranty Claims
Customers must receive a Return Merchandise Authorization number prior to returning any item. (See procedure for RMA below). All warranties are non-transferable.

To make warranty claim RMA # must be obtained first and then you must return the defective product to the manufacturer. We ask that you please include product information and a detailed description of the problem(s). Proof of the original purchase date will also be required in order to verify warranty coverage.

Customers in the United States may return the product(s) to US Digital Media after obtaining a Return Material Authorization ("RMA") number. To obtain an RMA number, please visit our RMA Request page.
Once you submit the completed form, the RMA number will be sent to the email address provided within 24 to 48 hours. For assistance, please contact our Customer Service department at (877) 992-3766.

When you have received your RMA number, you may send the products to: US Digital Media, 1929 W Lone Cactus Dr, Phoenix, AZ, 85027, United States. All returns must have the complete Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#) prominently displayed on the shipping label in order to be received into our warehouse. If the RMA# is not visible, your shipment may be refused. Re-box all returns in appropriate shipping cartons.

Customers are solely responsible for shipping any returned products to USDM. Customer agrees to pay all shipping charges and accept all risk of loss for the return products during shipment. When returning product, we require the use of a carrier that can track and insure packages. Repaired or replacement product will be shipped at US Digital Media’s expense.

Warranty Disclaimers

All warranties, whether express or implied, are limited to the periods of time and conditions of use described above. Some states or other jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply. Notice: US Digital Media products are not authorized for use as critical components in applications in which the failure or malfunction of the products would create a situation where personal injury or death is likely to occur.

US Digital Media shall not be liable for the death of any person or any loss, injury or damage to persons or property by use of products used in applications including, but not limited to: medical and life-support systems, military or military-related equipment, traffic control equipment, disaster prevention systems and commercial or private transportation systems.

US Digital Media’s total liability under this or any other warranty, express or implied, is limited to repair, replacement or refund. Repair, replacement or refunds are the sole and exclusive remedies for breach of warranty or any other legal theory. In no event will US Digital Media’s liability exceed the amount paid by the end user for the product.

To the full extent permitted by law, US Digital Media shall not be liable to the purchaser or end user customer of a US Digital Media product for any damages, expenses, lost data, lost revenues, lost profits, or any other incidental or consequential damages arising from the purchase, use or inability to use the US Digital Media product, even if US Digital Media has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some states or other jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
